Has anyone come across a water jacketed coffee urn? Most of what I have seen are not water jacketed or it doesn't state whether they are or not. I have found some used Curtis coffee warmers on eBay but the sellers aren't aware if they are water jacketed or not. Any make/model numbers of one's that are water jacketed ? Thanks

Those are basically what I have been looking for I just want to make sure they are actually water jacketed and not just insulated with a burner underneath. I have assumed the urns with the square enclosure is water jacketed but like I said it never states that anywhere and most of these sellers are just liquidating used restaurant equipment and don't know anything about them. I came up with these what do you think of them?

Well I do have a thing for big shinny objects. I LOVE THEM. I have one that I use and wouldn't use anything else. I have a had 3 of them and sell them as a better one comes along. I pay about $150-$250 for them. I had one that was $7,000.00 new and got it in like new condition for $150.00 They are big and in a sense outdated. BUT please don't let that be your first thought.
People just don't want them for a new commercial business. Here is my list of the good things
Cool looking
2 people can bottle
have hot water faucet on the from
will hold 2 different batches/grades
will keep syrup at a constant temp.
when the water in the surrounding jacket is at your bottling temp cold syrup can be reheated quickly and safely with out niter
did I mention there cool
They have small filter baskets in each tank
come with dripless spigots
Now the draw backs
220 volt
need to be drained if in unheated shack
need to be filled with garden hose or water line.
if you over pay they are expensive. just a joke
But who cares they are cool
