i had that happen last year. I got excited and cranked the RO to 250 as soon as I turned it on. So now I turn low pressure pump on, wait 10 seconds then turn hp pump on. Then after maybe 25 seconds bring slowly bring it up to pressure in small increments. Could be because of a new prefilter, Could be whatever's in the membrane is getting flushed out and mixed with concentrate , whatever it is I don't like cloudy sap. If you go to high concentrate like 10-12% the sap starts to take on a yellowish tinge sometimes but never a milky tinge.
I also keep 55 gallons of permeate on hand for rinsing the RO before I run sap. Run it all through right before I concentrate. Then I know whatever was in there is gone. And my new prefilter is rinsed out.
