When you switch over a single line to a wet/dry line and the existing one has saddles on it what do you do? Do you put the new line as the wet or dry line.
Thanks!

You don’t want saddles in your wet/dry conductor. You either have to layout your mainline laterals differently or have to run your wet/dry to to be able to incorporate your current single main systems

Assuming there are taps to pick up along your new wet/dry conductors, you can leave the saddled line and put a dry above it and a wet below it (see photo). Then connect that line with a whip to the two conductors. Your laterals will then go to the saddled lateral mainline. But yes, as Moser's said, you should try to avoid saddles on your wet/dry conductors.
