Hey all,
Hope everyones season is going well so far. IL is already 2 weeks in and I need to look at cleaning my raised flue soldered pan. I dont have permeate. What is another good option?

We always use tap water and rinse it a couple times mid season then at the end soak it with pan cleaner, again with tap water. Our waters got lots of minerals in it but it works fine. Good luck!

Flue pans are easy to clean out because they generally don't have much niter. My flue pan has scum build up and some sand. Mine looks like the Hot tub at a homeless shelter after about 4 days. Most times I use a cheap power washer and get back in the game. Pan cleaners that are for mineral build up wont remove oil scum from defoamer.

I rinse with a pressure washer during the season and at the end season soak the pan for a couple days with pan acid. This keeps the pan looking like new.
