In the next 2-3 weeks I am heading to latrobe PA, from Southern Maine. Going down (roughly) rt 95, rt 90, rt 84, rt 81, rt 80. If anyone along the way is looking to have some equipment or something hauled down or brought up let me know. We can work something out. Then I am coming right back.

you know that tank yours selling ( transportation tank )how do you fill them?

I have a fitting that screws into one of the top "bungs" and it has a 3/4 pipe adaptor on it. Then when I collect I dump into a 40 gallon tote, and have a bildge on a float switch that pumps into the tanks. They just self level as more sap enters them.

I also had it set up so I could have a 30 gallon tank on my 4 wheeler and a 2" pipe that connected from the 4 wheeler tank to these tanks and just hit the valve and it dumped into them as well. I used both ways depending on how I was collecting. Buckets or pumping from a tank.

They used to make rolling Rock beer in latrobe. dont know if they still do or not.
