I am a newb to this. Tapped three trees in my yard to give it a go. My camp property has a nice Sugarbush on it. If things go well this year, I may run lines for next season. I may even tap a few trees up there this year with larger containers to allow once a week pick up. Looking forward to learning a lot more.

Welcome to the addiction Benny8. I'm almost certain you won't stop at just 3. You plan on using a turkey fryer or going at it on the stove top ? Propane gets expensive real quick but fairly cheap to get started on. Good luck this season !

Thank you Lords! I have a 2 burner propane stove(essentially 2 turkey fryer burners), that I will use this year. My buddy, NH Maplemaker, is setting me up with some taps with tubing drops that I am going to put in my camp trees. Once bitten by the maple bug, we plan to build a small timber frame sugar house up to the camp. We have a nice downhill run to the location. Good luck to you as well.
