I did that this year with the mainline. Then wire broke 8 times back to back. Talk about living and learning.

And the nice thing about 3/16 on slope is that it can have small sags and run just fine.

Georgelineman, what brand of tubing are you using? I've even had tree limbs land on my 3/16 in a big dip. The limb pushed the tubing about 8-9' down to the ground but the tubing never came apart. It was very hypnotizing to watch the sap flow as it went down under that limb and marched back up to the next tap on the other side of the dip. I had about 25' of drop below that to have decent vacuum. I was using DSD tubing at that time.

I had trouble with pull aparts this year. Tubing and fiittings came from a leader dealer, so i assume leader. I know the tubing is leader.

Also if you pull 5/16 line too tight you can collapse the tube and get no flow

I had (2) 3/16" "T's" with cracks. Not sure if its from tension on my line of manufacturer defect

I also had problems with the leader tubing-fittings coming apart. It seems to be very thin and weak fittings. I won't buy them anymore.

i went to check on things today even though we're not running, glad i did. one of my new 3/16 rigid lines was either chewn through or broke. I am not a fan of the rigid stuff, going back to the semi-rigid. no real issues with it in comparison to the rigid tubing. it destroys T's if you're not super careful while installing drops.
