1/4" spouts

Wondering those of you using the 1/4" spouts....how do you like them?? I seem to notice that they seal in the tree better, or at least it seems that way...I've had some 5/16 in my "larger tree" bush seemed to have loosened up on me, quite a few actually, I think the ice pushed them out, most the trees are 14-16"+ and half are 20+"

I started using them a couple years ago and I like them. I use the smart spout and now signature spout from cdl. I get just as much sap as with a 5/16. I really like how fast the tree heals with the smaller hole.
