Is there a maximum temperature you can do reverse osmosis, for example can you do it in room temp 70 degrees or does it have to me around 40? Thank you

No problem with 70F. Actually I think the rated flow rate is at 100F.

Real cold sap is harder on the membrane than 70 Degree. My RO is in a heated room that is set at 72

The warmer the sap the faster the ro will flow. But the concentrate will spoil faster as well.

I keep my RO room thermostat at 40*F and when I'm running the RO I open the doors and let the cold air in. The sap flows through a little slower but the concentrate comes out cooler giving it a longer shelf life. Pumping the sap through the RO causes it to warm up a little on it's way through. My RO shuts down at 43*C which is around 110*F so if I was to start at 70* my RO wouldn't run very long before it shut down. The raw sap could begin to spoil before it even hits the RO when it's that warm too.
