maple almond price

Iam trying to figure out a good price to sell Maple covered almonds. The almonds cost me $6 a pound what are your thoughts

I sell a 4 oz bag of nuts for $5. I usually do pecans and walnuts and sometimes cashews. Almonds can get soggy even if you roast them first.

I retail for $5 for a 4oz package as well. $1.00 per ounce of finished product plus the cost of packaging, labeling, ect.

I do $8 for an 8 ounce bag. The trick for almonds is to take your syrup to 250 or 255. light syrup works good at lower temps than darker syrup. Typically the more it foams when heating the higher the temp you need to go.
