Started tapping today. Holes aren't as wet as they usually are when I tap, but it'll come.
New stack on the evaporator this year as the original rusted away after about 5 seasons. Got some new trees I'll have to check out. May get me over 250+ taps.

Not surprised you got some taps in. The rest of February looks warm. I wonder if it will be another "weird" season.

Not which side of Nottingham you are at. But my folks moved to VT last summer. They had the red farm at the intersection of 152 and 125. I left all the lines for the roadside trees and some out by the pasture probably 80 taps. And ones that run fast and early. I doubt the hippies living there now will do anything. Might want to stop and see if you can work something out with them. The roadside trees run real sweet but they only run for a couple weeks.

Boiled the last 4 nights, 100 gallons or so each night. Boiling rate of 20-25 gallons per hour. No RO.
