Air diaphragm pump lubricator

We just upgraded the gearpump on our filter press and the Air diaphragm pump came with a filter/ lubricator combo unit. Is it a good idea to add airtool oil to this or not bother? My only concern is if one of the diaphragms break the syrup would be contaminated. This unit came from H2O.

I'm not sure what others do, but I use an oiless compressor and use no lubrication.

I use an oil-less compressor and don't lubricate either. I have been using my pump on my filter press and for pumping cold syrup for years with no problems.
