Cleared the trails and got half the taps and buckets out yesterday. Now it's raining.

So far it has been a good year. Only have 31 taps on 23 trees, started early made 23 pts of delicate first run then it turned to amber for 30 pts. The rest so far has been dark. The ro system I put together last year is doing great saves a lot of boiling time. Had a couple of 60 gallon sap runs. So far have had three taps shut down. Hope the rest hang on for another ten days or so. Not getting rich but having fun and teaching the Grand Kids. They love it.
