Thoughts on tapping trees with multiple trunks?

I have a VERY large maple with 5 large trunks coming out of the same base/root structure. Thoughts on tapping these kinds of maple tree(s?)

I usually treat each truck as an individual tree and tap accordingly but usually air on the conservative side with number of taps. One tap per truck in most cases unless truck is large (24”+)then maybe 2
