Just got done putting my membranes away for the season and I was wondering if anybody knew what SMBS stood for.

SMBS is the type of membrane preservative that Lapierre sells. I use a different brand but it does the same thing. I think mine is made by Leader.

I was just wondering what the chemical name is. I think the S is for sodium, and the M is for metasulfide. The BS have me stumped, no pun intended!! I am just curious about things like this.
