221 so far on the year- two feet of snow the last few days, and its froze up hard. Looking like it will be a good reset!

Yeah as much as I hate to have to move it we really needed the snow. I didn't get as much snow as you did, about a foot I think. The sap started to run a little yesterday and I'm hoping that it will run better today and tomorrow. I've made 75.5 gallons so far which is more than 1/3 but less than a 1/2 crop so far.

We really did....We have almost 5 ft from the last two weeks- I have been in a hard freeze for 10 days. hoping for a great second half!

The deep freeze is almost over and I'm hoping for a great second half too! We've got plenty of snow in the woods now to help prolong the season. Now all we need is some good sap weather.

I called it a season here Monday. The only times that I boiled 2 nights/days in a row were February 21st and 22nd, Maple Weekend and Monday and Tuesday this week. Tuesday was to finish the contents of the evaporator. I had a good season though. I made 191.5 gallons which was 7.5 gallons more than last year.

Wrapped up today at 609 gallons on the year. Sap has been pouring in but sugar is at 1% and turned cloudy today. Very happy with the season. Starting pulling spouts this afternoon. Have around 325 gallons left to try and sell.
