I usually go early, but this year we have some actual cold. I do want to be prepared though, once the cold spell moves out. It may stick with us though. I kind of hope it does for a for more weeks.

Long range forecast has temps with 40s in the day and 20s at night for all of next week. Definitely tapping this weekend and finishing my arch setup.

Set my 46 taps today. Several trees dripping immediately. One tree had sap ice falling from the tree as we walked up.

Same here , just not as many taps!! I hope the big warm up at the end of the week makes for some serious flow!!

had a good fair season, A little over 2 gallon, lots of tree health issue. Used to post as sweet gum but I can't seem to get the password reset.
