Guy's,
Not sure how many of you have a Runnings store near you, but if you do and are looking to buy any poly sap collection vessels you might want to check them out. They are able to special order some Ace Roto Mold brand stuff because they sell some of their round, poly watering troughs.
I just purchased a bunch of 100 and 150 gallon, oval, potable water- safe watering troughs. They are basically the same thing Leader sells but their green in color, not white. And their about half the price! $86 and $135 I think mine worked out to be. I bought a quantity of them so there was no shipping. But even if you only buy a couple the shipping is next to nothing compared to the usual freight charge that goes along with something this size. The way they do it is they order the tanks, hold them until they have a truck load of "large" items for whichever store your near and then they ship them. The savings is well worth the wait!
But you'll have to order them right along so you get them in time for this season. I was told it would be anywhere from two weeks to a month- depending on how quick the truck fills up.
