Maple Taffy

Is anyone making "real" maple Taffy? I ordered some maple taffy from a taffy place and it doesn't have ANY maple in the ingredients list.

Yes, we tried it.
Found a recipe on You tube. Toffee rather than taffy, but close enough.
That stuff was absolutely the bomb, but you had to be careful lest you remove the fillings from your teeth or the teeth right out of your head.

From a sales standpoint, we couldn’t find a way to make it profitable. Way too much time to prepare, short shelf life, labor intensive, so we discontinued selling it.
