I hope you guys had a great season. I was looking for monitoring solutions such as CDL or Smartrek for the next season. Do you guys know any alternative monitoring systems or other systems who do the same or near the same job ?

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for all your great replies. So far, here are the monitoring systems I have referenced and the ones I will take a look :

1. CDL
2. Acertronix
3. Tap Track
4. Smartrek
5. Lapierre
6. Erablitek
7. Magika

I wrote to the guys at Magika and the main developer wrote me back saying that the product isn't developed anymore; they passed the relay to either CDL or Sysacom. I was wondering if you guys have any experience with the following systems : Smartrek, Erablitek or Magika ?

Smartrek is exclusively licensed by H2O now. http://h2oinnovation.net/en/produit/h2o-smartrek/

We've used this system since it came out and have an article on it at http://www.uvm.edu/~pmrc/Smartrek%20-%20Maple%20News.pdf

There is at least one additional system you don't have on your list. It is sold by Marcland. https://www.marcland-usa.com It is satellite-based, not wireless mesh like most of the others.
