Hey all,

I built this last month and finally got some pics to show you all. It was designed just like some of the self built 2 handed tools but on the one handed clamp that I have seem some others do on here. I wanted to do it this way so that I could have one free hand to hold the fitting. I have used it on a couple new runs of 3/16 and so far it has worked great.

I really like the idea of using a quick clamp as the base for the tubing tool. I'm curious why you have the two bolts welded on, are they just as guide rods to keep everything aligned?

Nice idea! It may work a bit smoother if you move the location of the tubing clamps closer to the clamp bar. That will reduce the friction that is working against you as you apply force to the fitting. Should stay lined up a bit better too.

Ya the biggest issue with the tool was attaching the vise base to the clamp. It doesnt keep very straight with tension so those work as a guide to keep it closer to straight

Ya if I ever remake it I will probably do something like that
