Steam-A-Way window

Was wondering if anyone has modified the window on their Steam-A-Way so it can open. I believe the newer units do open but mine doesn't. Just looking for ideas.

Why do you want to open it? If you reach in there while boiling it will burn you immediately. It is not big enough to reach through and clean flue pan.

First year one the Steam-A-Way, its great! That was my thought to at least rinse the flue pans, or be able to add an initial drops of defoamer. Ill probable hook it up with cables for next year.

I have one that I had made by a local shop. After the 1st year I cut A hole in each side and had a door fashioned which I can open to get in and pressure wash the flu pan. Not sure the manfactured ones would be strong enough to do this. The down side is some steam is forced out around the doors, but sure is handy to keep things clean.
