Friday 100 gallons, Sat. 120 g, Sun. 150, Mon. 275. Thought today would be ok but not doing much. Pretty sad numbers for 400 on vac. Was really hoping yesterday would be a gallon+ per tap day but that nasty north wind just wouldn't let it happen. Have only had 2 days with over 500 gallons per day so far. 61 gallons made so far.

same here thought today was going to be the day hardly ran on vacuum and buckets didn't run at all , the trees know we have colder weather comin :(
I don't think it froze overnight up where our sugarhouse is. It froze down in the valley, but maybe not up there! We hope we get some sap on Friday and Saturday to put on a show!
We'll see...
Revi I thought you sold out? Good to see you're still syruping

Our sap cubes finally thawed out and we boiled off 125 gallons. Late night, 2 am but we got everything we had through and will finish tonight. Sugar season finally under way for us.
Our operation is for sale, and we dropped the price to $73,900 if anyone wants to check it out. We have been doing it for 15 years now, and still love it, but one of our wives, not so much! I am also thinking of retiring, (which means I will do something a little different). It's a great operation for someone that has a job because 90% of the sap comes right to the sugarhouse. No lugging, except for a few buckets near the sugarhouse. Here's a youtube movie about it:

325 gallons from 430 on vac today. Last time I had more than 200 gallons for the day was March 9. What a terrible month.
