Lapierre Single Vertical coming apart.

Twice last night I had the piece with the shut off plunger come completely out. Never happened to me before. Right now there is a rope holding it in.

Mine was doing the same . I found moisture inside the pipe causing the plunger to stick and when it released it would blow apart .
