Has anyone else had issues with the 3/16 30P occasionally slipping through the jaws of a 2 handed tool. On several occasions, I've come to a point in the line where it just slips through the tool, no matter how much I tighten down on it. Even tried reversing the tool to try the other jaw, and using my 1 handed tool. Very frustrating when your on the last tap of a long lateral and the entire thing ends up on the ground!

We've had the same thing happen as well. Our workaround is to decrease the line tension by pulling the line together on each side of the tubing tool. This is easier with another set of hands but it can be done if you're working alone. We

Some we installed last year ,slipped off the drop line tee this last freeze up this spring.Fits the tubing tool ok.Maybe you have it stretched a little to tight and it shrunk a little.Last year when installing we had one line we tightened to tight and it broke, took off down hill like a snake on ice.Might have to take a file and file it down a little so it grabs tighter, had to do that too.

I had the same issue installing a certain batch of tubing last year. We filed down the jaws on the tool and it seemed to help quite a bit.

This is a production problem where the outside and inside diameters fluctuates due to inconsistency in material flow out of the extruder head. This should have been picked up in the quality Control department. The best thing to do is bring it back.
