Curious if anyone has tried one of these housings:

I like the side entry ports for simple plumbing from housing to housing, but it looks like the U bolts restrict the orientation so that they need to face a specific direction? In my application at least one would be nice to have the caps 90° opposed from end to end.

I have one on my RO. I have 2 4 X 40 membranes. They are nice to use because they are easier to plumb up. No issues all ports are 1/2 inch. You will like them

Are the caps limited orientation? My thought is that I could link the upper 2 caps together with a straight nipple and I'd even skip adding a union. The lower I would want to come in the side port as well, but 90° opposed to the upper.

Guess I'd have to put another set of holes in the housing or else reconfigure my plumbing to match.

I like this one better than the one i have with the clamps. Thanks for posting this i will be ordering one.
