Stack diameter

What diameter is your stack? The spiral trough to preheat I'm building is for 6" but I can form a die for bigger if that's what most of you guys (and gals) use. Trying to develop something to supplement my SS. Thanks.

Pretty open ended question. We run an 6" on a barrel as I am sure most do.

The size needed is generally related to the firebox size. My 2x3 half pint had 6", my 2x6 Leader had 8", my 3x8 has 12". What size is your set up?

My 2x10 had a 10" stack. My 4x14 has a 20".

I don't boil anymore,did back in the 70s when I built my own rig. It had a 12 inch square pipe to a chimney I built. I did that when I was getting my welding business started. I'm retired now and trying to develop a product. Ss isn't enough if you want anything extra.
