Well we managed to do a walk through the sugar bush this weekend and prepare for the Blizzard. All tanks and equipment are secure pumps put away now looks like back to snowshoeing again. Just more work is all this means for us plowing and re opening roads and trails.

Yikes. Pretty scare the forecast I saw for your neck of the woods. We are only supposed to get about 4"-6" here.

Here in southern New England, we got about 4"-5" inches of snow last night. It tuned to freezing rain, and now it's straight rain.
Very windy. My house is in a clearing surrounded by 40-50 foot trees. And the tops are swaying amazing distances :o

I'm at 2,000 ft. elevation in the Berkshires and it is NUKING out right now. Had nothing on the ground yesterday. We are in the 22 to 30" range. I'm a skier so I'm lovving it!

About a foot on the ground here now. Wind drifting quite a bit too. I brought my small vac unit in the other day and left the lines on the ground. Don't know if I'll find them after this! Gonna be hell to pump my roadside tank because the road's so narrow without snowbanks. No snowshoes either.
Power keeps flashing on and off, but staying on. We could see 18-24".

Here in the center of Pa, right up against the mountains we got 16" of snow. The wind is starting to kick up, but
I believe the snow is over for the most part!

It is un-be-lievable here right now. I just got home from closing our other business and you can't tell the road from the field aside from the telephone poles. No car could get through what I just drove through. Cars are either sitting on the roadside or in a ditch. I pulled one guy with a Subaru back on the road but I doubt he made it much further. The snow was literally caking on the side of my face. You can't see oncoming headlights until they are 60' away. Too late to take any kind of evasive action. I honestly don't remember ever seeing it this bad.

Crazy that we were collecting in short sleeves last month and we'll need snowshoes to get around the bush in March. Still snowing here.

Wow the sun is out today first time in a week. I have about 1/2 the bush cleaned out. Sick of moving snow!
