Deep flues

I've had this thought for a couple years now about a flue pan. 24" deep flues that are 2" wide with 2" spacing between flues and 8 ft long. 296 sq ft surface area. Your thoughts?

Well I think Leader and several others have deep flues approaching that dimension? Maybe 16 to 18 inches on a Max flue as a example. My guess is the flues are about 1 inch wide and 1 inch spacing.
If you can get the heat to it, they should boil like crazy!
Is this something your going to build? You would need a deep arch, Unless raised flue style. Good luck!

Going to be tricky to bend that deep, can be done but tooling for the press brake gets expensive!

My flues are 10" deep , Leader has 11" I think and Sunrise offers 16". They are better than 7" for sure. Why do you want the sap in the flues 1" wide? Most flues on the wet side are thinner to get more surface area in the available space.

I am having a 2x6 built with a raised flue back pan. Flues will be 9.5 inches tall. Excited to see how it goes

Been designing this for a while now, Diamond tipped combination pan. 3x6' flue pan nets 234.5 square feet. Still working out the details but am working on a 3x10 gasifier.

Looks like a good design. I know those sides see a lot of pressure. I have seen several buldged out when sap is in there.
