How to remove membrane from D&G 600?

Here is a pic of the bottom of my 8" membrane tower as it sits in the machine. Obviously I will need to remove the tower which is no big deal. My question is.. Is the rust covered ring in the pic a snap ring that
just gets pryed out of the housing? Is there a special way to remove that ring? Its a 2007 year d&g 600 made by airablo. Same15999 unit as a springtech 500. Im not ready to remove it yet, as our season is not over. Im just thinking ahead.

Yes you pry out the metal ring that fits in a groove in the bottom of the vessel. The ring is probably made up of two or three pieces.

Thanks Tim. Is it recommended to replace these or can they be reused?
