I have approximately 1500 ft. of 1 and 1/4 inch mainline (top and bottom) that has 5 different 3/4 runs of 250', 400', 550', 500', 500' attached at different points along the line. All lines have less than 1% slope (flat land Ohio). We have added several of the 3/4 lines since the original installation of the 1 1/4. Total taps getting clos to 1000. I have noticed a lot of sap being sucked through the top dry line so I am wondering if I need to replace the wet mainline with something larger? Also wondering what size CFM pump I should have for this? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

What is the height distance between the wet and dry line? Rule of thumb is 1 CCM for 100 taps.

I have close to 1000 taps with 1" over 1" wet/dry. Only time I see anything in dry line is first thing when wet line is froze. I have seen many looking for 1 cfm/ 50 taps. That is what I have now and very happy with it.
