does anyone pump from a 55 gallon barrel holding tank? Do you have a pic of the fittings you use? I use a small electric pump to load into my hauling barrel but it takes forever to clear the 55 gallons. I know one issue is the 1/2" hole drilled into my bung cap. I can make that hole 3/4" and use 3/4" PVC fittings to connect my hose to but if there's a better way to get from barrel to barrel using 3/4" (pump inlet/outlet size), I'm all ears. I"m too small an operation to spend the $$ on a trash pump to move my sap uphill but would like to empty these barrels a bit faster.
