Looking for input on the next gen hobby RO's, seem like they are a nice little unit for the price. Will help tremendously next season when I break out on my own and boil for myself looking at a 18x48 cdl rasied flue evaporator that's used to start out.

I have heard nothing but good things. I have seen them in person. Well-built, simple, and easy to modify.

Look up posts from "smellslikesyrupNH". I've been watching his posts, he has (if I recall correctly) the mid-priced one. It is a single 4 inch post but without a pre-charge pump. Rated to remove 30% per pass. He appears to be very pleased with it. I've been watching his posts because he seems to be the first to post about them as they are newer. I just may get one from NextGen instead of building my own and harassing UrbanSugarmaker for help. :)

And I've been thinking of adding their 200 gal unit as a second RO. I looked at them when I went to pick up my current head tank. Nice looking units and look to be well made. I'd need to add an extension to store both RO's, my current RO barely fits in the RO room (along with a pressure washer). I either need to do that or sell my 250 and get a larger one, but that would also require an addition to the sugarhouse. I've been thinking about one for at least 6 years, maybe this is the year to act.
