Buying syrup in bulk to repackage

What is the process of bottling bulk syrup? Does it need re-filtered? How about selling it, do i put the same label as the stuff i make? I can sell a lot more than i can make so i was curious. Thanks

You would need to heat it up to 190* just like bottling your own syrup. Filtering shouldn't be necessary but you may want to do so anyway. I don't know about your state but in NH I have to put a label on it that says "packaged by" when I jug syrup that I bought from someone else. When I jug my own syrup I put a label on it that says "produced by".

Michigan would be the same produced by verses bottled by on label.

Glad I do not have the problem of selling more than I make. :D
