What is the most amount of sap you have gotten from 1 tree in a SEASON?

I have never kept a record like that but I think ten gallons on spouts with buckets more on tubing. about one quart of syrup per tap. I have a silver maple at home with a bucket just to keep track of sap flow. so far its at twelve and one half gal above what is normal wish they all ran like that one.

Have not kept track myself. But then I admit I am not a real stats person.
My gallons per year are not exact measurements I go off how much is in the buckets and give a close eye estimate. The same as we do when we drive around and do deer counts, duck counts and such with the DNR in Michigan. :D My finished though is just that how much I got for the season.

If your on tubing there is no way to tell. We have several good running trees in our woods that run over 100 gallons in a season (3 bucket trees). They make up for those that might only run 2-4 gallons in a season. We have one tree that will continue to run sap without a freeze thaw cycle. We will gather sap from her and leave them by her in 5 gallon buckets so the buckets on her don't run over until we gather the rest of the woods. I can remember dumping 8 five gallon buckets before during one extended run. The sap tested 4 as well. Its hard to imagine the amount of syrup that tree has produced in its life time.

I once read that an average tree would produce about 20 gal of sap in a season. I just was wondering what you guts thought. I realize it would have to be on buckets to know. Another question what is the most buckets or taps you have put on a tree?
Thank you all for the input. We have about 100 taps with a Leader 2X4 WSB evaporator all on buckets 7/16 tap.
