sap with white wispy material on the surface

hello. i goofed. we went thru a warm spell and i kept the sap inside in a cool spot in insulated garage. forgot to put a frozen jug in. the sap is slightly cloudy with a small amount of white wispy floaters on the surface. is this sap spoiled. thanks beach

If it smells sour or tastes sour, it is! Seems intuitive but I learned the hard way. As usual. Ted
