Filter press feed hose.

The press I bought over the summer didn't have a hose between the pump and the press. The press swivels up for putting on papers so I can't go with solid pipe. What type hose do I need that will handle the heat and the pressure? Thanks.

Milk line hose. The one with a stripe down the side with thick walls. Stands up to hot syrup. Mosthe dealers carry it or maybe something like an old fashioned away. Oh yeah a thing of the past.

I use a braided stainless steel hose from the pressure side of the pump to the filter bank, Depending on the pressure you are running milk hose might not be strong enough.

Milk hose is silicone hose. Yes it will take the temps, but will not like the pressure. You can use it before the pump and after the press. You need something different between the pump and press.
