Tapping question

Im pretty new to this. I have put about 20 taps out. I tapped most of the trees about 2-3 weeks ago. And a couple just yesterday. It seems like the trees flow like mad when I first tap them then slow up quite a bit. Some are not flowing at all. Is this normal or do the trees start healing up that fast? Should I put in fresh taps or just be patient? Thanks for any advice. Ken

Hi Ken. Your taps won't dry up that quickly. You should expect double that timeframe. It's more likely that the weather is the problem. Hang tight!

Thank you. I figured I just needed patience. The weather has been very strange. I presently do this as a hobby but can see that there is a GOOD chance of addiction! LOL Sugar addiction!
