Little help please with wiring a goulds pump for 230

Have to temporarily replace the Goulds pump for my releaser. According to the wiring diagram I know where the black and white wires for the pump go, but puzzled about the brown wire. It says it goes to "p" in the lower left corner. Does that implt that it is not used in 230v situation so it just plugs into a plastic tab1571615715?

Yes I know, but is p simply the white plastic tabs?

Appears to be! Looking at diagram and picture appears just a dead end post ! So wire just doesn't float around
