the boys and i tapped 48 yesterday on our old tubing system. we picked up materials to install a new mainline but will run what we have for a few days until the new setup is running. we hope to be boiling in a couple of days.

we got some sap before the warm up but it wont keep. so we took this time to finish our new mainline and hook all of our taps into it. everything is clean and ready to go. wood is in. while in the woods, we scoped out another grouping of trees so we will add another 40 taps over the weekend. lets hope for cooler temps? 15747

thanks. we should have gone this route right from the start. we like spending time out there but would rather be in cooking. today should be an ok run but the weekend should be very good.
