There are some good maple related videos under "maple syrup production"

One is from New Brunswick Canada (100,000 tap operation)

The others are by Royalmaple

Check them out!

Here's the one from NB:

I've met the Hargroves before, but never toured their place. All I know is it's big! If anyone remembers the pics of the 6 x 16 I was bricking last spring, that's at his next door neighbor's, with only 26,000 taps, plans for 50,000.

Here's are my vids on YouTube:

Umm, I donno, would have to watch the vid again LOL. I've never seen their operation, just drove by their place a few times. It's about 3.5-4 hrs NW of me, but I've been to their neighbors several times setting up thier evap and RO, etc.

My vids are from my uncle's little sugarcamp with the 4 x 10, and from my friend Ed's house, on our little homemade evap.

I felt like I was watching a vid of being in a dentist or doctors office. Notice the white trench coat thing that was going on? Quite a comparison to my bib overhauls and gloves in my back right pocket ready at a moments notice.
It was a very good vid though.

Yes, those video's are pretty neat. There are actually a bunch of them. Very interesting. I know what you mean Mark, those guys are all in lab coats and super serious. Then you take one of us with firing gloves on and sipping boiling sodas. I'm not sure they'd let me in the place.

Parker, if you are on dial up. You may just have to give it a min, since your download speed is slower than the video is trying to play at. So let it load up and should eventually play fine.

That is one problem with the videos they are pretty huge files and do take some download speed to watch them.

Yup Parker, royal is right, gonna take a while with dial-up. Click and ignore it for awhile, it will come. Since it's hard to watch in fits and starts, let it play through once like that, then click watch again, and since the whole vid is now on your PC, it should play smooth the second time through.

I have dial up at work and I can't stand it. There are times when I try to download video and it is the same thing it says its done but when you try to play it again it does the same thing again. So I usually end up clicking off it and waiting till I get home.

My dial up worked fine/just let the video run for a couple of minutes at first and then go to the bar on the bottom and click on the arrow and it will play out.
