We've started tapping and what a challenge this year! We had a heavy, wet ice/ snowstorm in December that took trees and limbs down everywhere. Now theres 3 ft. of snow on top of everything, with a couple layers of crust in between. We did the worst line yesterday, I spent most of the day repairing while my wife and her friend tapped. Thank God I have a helper! We're a little over half done with around 1500 left, I'm glad I started early.
