I just built a RO I have a little experience in using one. It started off great and took out the water at a fast rate and then slowly turn to a trickle. Even when I was ROIng new sap. I think I need to clean Ro can anybody tell me how that's done. 15537

Start with warm permeate water for 5 min, then rinse with permeate for 10 min if that doesn't work will have to soap wash, Ifor still having problems acid wash will work then flush with permeate for 10 to 15 min to flush everything! Every membrane is washed a little different though not knowing your brand

The recirculate line needs to go to the input (low pressure) side of the procon. The way you have it, the SAP will not recirculate as there is nearly equal pressure across the recirc valve.

Your pressures will be fighting each other with that recirc line run the way it is. And once pressure equalizes it will just blow raw sap right past the membrane altogether. The way you have it is that your Procon is feeding both ends of the membrane. Not good. . You absolutely need to switch that line to tee into the input of the Procon not the output. You could be buying a new membrane soon if you run it like that.
