Collecting in the dark can be interesting under a clear sky with a full moon. What do you collect in (at the trees)?
Good luck this year!

Just had to go out and collect this morning too. Looks like the freeze helped things out quite a bit.

:o I certainly hope that you didn't hurt yourself!
When you have the opportunity it might be a wise idea to locate more plastic totes to hold your sap. Sorry to see that much of your day's harvest gone in an instant.

Ouch really sorry to see that. Stop at your local Dunkins or Bakery at the grocery store. They will give you 5 gallon plastic buckets if you just ask.

I had 45 in Pelham and I live in Merrimack, finally got to be too much of a hassle driving there.....it was about 15 miles away and just got to not be worth it.

Also if you are in Salem or Methuen and maybe want some more buckets....I have a bunch im not using, I don't know where the taps are but id be willing to make a deal with you on them. I believe I have about 40 metal buckets with lids.

A chance for someone who has a differing opinion on things to point out his superiority by picking nits.
He caught my primary point, which was clearly a spelling error, but perhaps this is a better place for discussing your point: http://mapletrader.com/community/showthread.php?19789-Marketing-Syrup-as-Reverse-Osmosis-or-Pipeline-Free&p=354047#post354047
