First Batch

Made my first batch of syrup yesterday
4 turkey fryers
50 gallons of sap
Mix of sugar & silver maples
14 hours
10 pints of syrup
I'm hooked already planning an evaporater for next year

Do not worry much you wont think too much about maple once the season is over.

You will now find yourself going oh wow look at all those maple trees.
Hmm I wonder if I should go with more taps next year?
Wow I could really use (insert all kinds of things) I don't think it will cost much.
