Any predictions as to weather or not we will get one last run at the end of this week?

The temps look good but is it to late?

It would be nice to make a few more gallons although I really need to get busy in the greenhouse , thats not even covered yet!! YIKES!!!!

If you tapped close to the end of march 20th+, you may get flow. Any taps in before that, I think you're done.

I just checked some buckets i tapped last week (experiment) and they were running 120 dripps per minute.

the ones I tapped in the end of Feburary were running about the same...

some buckets had 1.5- 2 gal. in each...

not sure of sugar content, but I'm going to hang in there till I see the buds on the trees or hear the frogs...

Parker- The sapsucker is running as I speak...didn't check the pull, but seems like the 5-6" range is about all I'm going to get...looking at taking the plunge for a releaser and surge or delaval for next season. Looks like we can pick up another 100-120 taps over on Chase Hill with a little creative plumbing. I'll have to get you over there to take a look once the season's over...seems like a good run today...

Sap ran some today. One of my reds has burst fourth with big ole buds.

Sap was running over here too.
One of our lines was running real good. Snowing and sap running!
Both lines are gravity.
I'll have to gather on the way home tomorrow night.
