I have to go away this weekend and can't boil. It's supposed to be high of 60 Saturday and Sunday but lows will be in the 30s at night. Do you think the sap that runs Saturday will be ok on Monday? I don't think they will run on Sunday due to no freeze Saturday night.

The sap should be okay but it has to stay cold, ice would help with the temperature and keeping it cold.

Can you bank snow around your collection tank before you leave? That and using 80 or 90% shade cloth help. Then boil as soon as possible.

I wish i had some snow to pile up, that's been long gone. I think I'll freeze some water in 2 liters and put them in right before i go.
Trade you some snow for warm weather.
