I have the 125 and I'm doing the soap wash as part of the start of the year cycle. Do I use 5 gallons of hot water or 15 gallons of hot water per 1/4 cup soap?

When I met with him, he had me note in the directions for the hot water rinse that only 5 gallons are needed, not the 15 written there. I don't remember if the same goes for the soap wash. I'm not sure this wash tank holds 15 gallons.

Second question:
When I set the valves to get max flow through the membrane, I'm opening up both valves all the way and everything is coming out the concentrate line. Is that right?

Thanks,
Sean

Btw, I do have a call in to Ray, but I'm guessing he's over his head.

Ray just got back to me. He's awesome.

5-10 gallons of hot water for the soap wash is good.

Correct on the valves, you want high flow, low pressure

Valves not correct. You want to set the valves to where both flow meters are the same. Just adjust til they look the same. During the wash, recheck a couple of times to see if you need to adjust the flow.
