I'm thinking about upgrading evaporator this summer, I'm looking at the Chinook and the Intense O Fire from CDL. Anyone use either one of the models? do you like how they perform?

We run a CDL Intense o fire 3x12 We have had it for 4 years now and do like the it boils. We run dry 3' length wood 6" dia or smaller in it and with maple, elm, cherry and yellow birch it will have load times of 30-45 min. We run it mostly in the gasification mode with limited air under the front pans. It still will maintain 1500-1700 degrees in the firebox and have a boil rate (when up to temp) from 180-200 gph. with raw sap. 160-180 with 8% concentrate. We do have a preheater with it as well. Have learned how to run it through the years and are very happy with the performance. Will have 3500-4000 taps this year with the R/O and it should be able to handle that pretty easy. Any other questions let me know
