Food grade Ibc tote

A few years ago I bought 2 foodgrade ibc totes that held vit e in them. They have all the stickers still on them. Now I'm wondering if I get them all clean inside would you still use them or should I get something new? Thanks in advance.

I would. Just clean it well. If it doesn't smell try it.

I cleaned one last year with soap and water and it was kind of a greasy film after I rinsed it out. I'm thinking of cutting it open and have my friend that's a lot smaller than me crawl in and scrub it down or try to figure out how to make a sprayer for my steam cleaner thqt would clean the whole inside. Something along the same lines as the tank washer for dairy tanks.

I used dishwasher detergent and that seemed to leave little to no residue. Let that soak and slosh around on the truck for a couple days. Then drained it and put water in it with a fair amount of baking soda. Soak and slosh. That seemed to cut the detergent pretty good. Then did a soak and slosh with straight water. Then rinsed good.
